The course was designed by architect Jan Sederholm from Helsingborg and it is located very centrally at the southern entrance to Arvidsjaur.
The terrain around the course is gently undulating heathland with sand at the bottom and pine forest. No undergrowth makes the ball playable even outside the fine-cut areas. It is a beautiful but also challenging course with a significant presence of water on seven of the nine holes. It will reward bold and good shots. But also punish bold and bad shots.
The course consists of ”an equal number of holes of each kind”. That is: Three par 3 holes, three par 4 holes, and three par 5 holes with 18 tees.
