We want you as a guest to feel safe and well taken care of when you stay with us.

Here we have compiled some practical information that may be useful to know when you are staying with us.

Remember to take it easy and show consideration when driving/cycling in the area. A lot of children stay here.

Grilling may only take place in grills unless there is a general ban on grilling. Open fires on land are not permitted. Barbecue charcoal must be emptied into special containers at the garbage station.

Defibrillators are available at reception.

Dogs are welcome on our campsites but must be on a leash and may not stay in our common service areas. Resting takes place outside the camping area, don’t forget to bring a dog poo bag.

Check-in takes place from 13:00 for camping and 15:00 for cabins on the day of arrival. Please contact reception in advance if you plan to arrive after regular opening hours.

We at Camp Gielas welcome your comments so we can be even better. Remember to notify the reception as soon as a possible problem arises so that we can fix it.

Latrine emptying
The latrine must be emptied in the designated place.

Play and have fun on the playgrounds, but remember that silence must prevail in the area between 23:00-07:00.

Night shift
Do you need to get in touch with us outside our opening hours? Call the reception and you will reach our night service.

Peace and order must prevail around the clock. Silence between 23:00-07:00.

Cars must be parked on the campsite or outside the cabin. In the case of several vehicles, these must be parked in the designated place.

Service house
The service houses are for those who live on a camping site or in a simpler cabin. The service centers are open around the clock.

Cleaning of cottage
Cleaning equipment is available in all cottages. You can also buy for final cleaning, contact reception.

Fire/emergency: rescue first, alert sos on phone 112, put out the fire. Fire extinguishers are deployed in several places, see map.

Age limit
This is a destination where you, as a guest, must be 18 years of age without living with a guardian. Please note when booking that the age limit may be higher during a limited period of time. This is communicated by Camp Gielas at the time of booking.
